While working at NRL, my passion for music composition and recording was rekindled and I designed and built a new design for a recording studio using a Reflection Free Zone (RFZ) and a Diffuse Field Zone (DFZ) using newly invented Reflection Phase Gratings (RPGs) on the rear wall. I initially recorded original compositions, but eventually opened the studio for commercial recording.
